Hello and welcome to my page. I am Stacey Johnson, wife and mother of a 4 year old, 3 year old, and a baby! I am a former teacher who decided to stay home in order to raise my growing family.  I began sewing 3 years ago when my husband gifted me a machine for Christmas and I just never stopped. 

I tried sewing a plethora of things, but I found my passion in creating items for my home that would make my life simpler (and let’s face it…cheaper!) Going from 2 incomes to 1 at the same time as the COVID shutdown made me really focus on how I could use my talents to benefit my family while still getting to be the one to raise my babies. After about a year of sewing for myself I began to dream of starting my own small business…fast-forward to August of 2022 and I made that dream a reality!

So where did the name Lemon & Daisy come from??

Lemon: My little girl, Anna, has had quite the personality from day 1 and I very quickly gave her the nickname “my little lemon” because she could be oh so sweet…or not ;)

Daisy: White daisies are my absolute favorite flowers.  They remind me of both of my grandmothers and a generation that used what they had to the fullest.  I always admired how my grandparents lived so simply with what they had, as they were raised in the Great Depression Era.

My goal is to bring back that simpler way of life where items in our houses are not only beautiful, but functional and last over the years.  I pride myself in creating products that will withstand the test of time (and lots of use).
